    hiya

    me again as you maybe guessed didnt do so well with january so here goes with a nice feb fast!

    it is not going to be so strict this time, water only just isnt working for me
    so i will have, juice, water, broth and see how that goes
    startingg NOW!


    hope you all did better than me this january, shall make some time to read some of the journal
    cannot wait to get this done

    Juice, water and broth is a great fast! I hope it works better for you! I sometimes flavor the broth with spices to make it taste more life food

    off to have a little bit of brunch with the family, but will keep it light then straight back to it!

    ive read elsewhere people who have fasted have noticed reduction in strechmarks has anyone here noticed this?
    over the past few weeks of rapid weight gain i am covered in them,
    i got them on my tummy, inner arms, inner thighs, hips
    so was wondering if anyone has had any notice of reduction
    i would love to wear a bikkini this year at the beach but looks like it aint gonna happen if im covered in purple marks


    oh ive gained even more weight btw when i weighed myself i am now up to 11 stone
    i was 8 stone last june.

    (there is 14lbs in a stone if anyone is struggling)

    Hi roses, I hope you are doing well with your fast. Wow, I hope you are right about the stretch mark thing. Wouldn't that be amazing!

    it would be amazing ill just have to wait and see, doubt they will ever completly go so no bikkini for me this year! i have them absoloutly everywhere, arms, tummy, hips, legs in fact the only place i havent got em is my face! its so embarrising and really makes me feel ugly, im trying to find some makeup to cover them
    today i ate some pineapple was reeeally craving it for some reason and since its healthy i thought i would just enjoy, it was yummy
    apart from that its just been water
    did a 20 minute speed walk and a 20 minute stroll, done some dumbells and sit ups too
    so im hoping its helped, i will do the same exercise tomorow, and hopefully NO food and water only, i want to do tuesday wednesday thursday and friday water only i will then start having juice and broth when ive got stuff on to give me a little energy.

    well i weighed myself today and even though i cheated i have still dropped 2lbs so thats a nice result!

    today is my first day of water only NO CHEATS and so far i want to eat but im not actually hungry, done about 30 mins walking and will do another 20 mins on the tredmill tonight, need to get some weights and sit ups done aswell but wont push myself too hard

    ive set some goals maybe abit to optimistic
    but week1 i want to lose 14lbs thats 2lbs a day
    then the rest of the month im looking at 1lbs a day


    i plan on sticking to a liquid fast until i reach my gw with the first 3 or more days being water only i would like it to be 7 days but ill start with 3 and see how i go
    i will then introduce juices and broths for the remainder of the fast,with the odd water only day thrown in :D

    so hopefully with a little luck i will be at my gw by the end of march.

    its day 2 of my water fast and i feel awful, my body feels like jelly, i feel so so weak will be taking it super slow and easy today.

    my fast will be broken on saturday, then back to it on sunday where i will waste sunday monday tuesday and juice wednesday and thursday i wil then water *hopefully* for 7 days then back to juices broths and water until i loose this weight

    Hey there, hope you're feeling better. Do you always exercise whilst Fasting? Maybe you should reduce it down till at least around day 7, people seem to have more energy around this time The body needs to rest really whilst Fasting, you will lose the weight without exercising trust me

    i used to always excercise and was fine but not these days, im a lot heavier now (42lbs) so it is much more of a strain to exercise than before, today ive just lazed around been feeliing a bit sick, im hoping with tomorow being day 3 i will of entered ketosis and my body will be using the fat as fuel.

    weighed myself today and ive dropped 4lbs so far hopefully tomorow I might of dropped another 2lbs

    That's a great loss, well done! I might try doing some exercise as a distraction this time as it seems to help a lot of people I'm quite heavy though, and I hate the feeling of my flab wobbling!

    That wobbling flab is a good feeling when exercising because you are getting rid of it! And as for stretch marks, they should improve with time. The skin's elasticity is usually on a bit of a delay. There are also various stretch mark creams that are helpful or you could talk to a dermatologist about it as well. Something can always be done, stay positive Sounds like you're doing a great job!
